Venture one:Birthday blackout

So i recently got a Nikon D50 my first digital slr, my first digital camera period. Im happy with it. Not as good as film in my opinion, but the conveniences make up for that. Im still getting used to the camera and its settings, i've had it for 2 weeks now so im still a rookie. These pictures are the day i got the camera and on my first night out with the camera at japhets birthday party. I've taken much more since then so i'll post up soon. I'll try and make it a habbit.
